Mose Barn

A Barn conversion on the National Trust Dudmaston Estate, Shropshire

Built from traditional stone, sandstone and timbers, Mose barn incorporates what was an old root house, granary and series of cow sheds, into a stylish and relaxing holiday property. We wanted the scheme to have a contemporary feel, with a nod to the building’s more industrial history.

A palette of earthy tones, warm, inviting terracotta and neutral shades complement the wood and natural materials found within the property itself as well as the surrounding area. Carefully selected vintage pieces contrast with more modern shapes and a mix of materials to create a space that is full of character and interest.
